DAISY

The most common of all the European species of daisy, this perennial flower blooms from early to mid-summer and enjoys a long flowering season. It has short creeping rhizomes and rosettes of small rounded or spoon-shaped leaves. The species habitually colonises lawns, and is difficult to eradicate by mowing, hence the term 'lawn daisy'. It blooms from March to September
